Default 2008 shake/Vibration near 30, 40 and 50 and idling at 1500 to 2000 rpm

I have a 2008 CR-V. When I got the car used I noticed when not moving and in neutral, at about 1500 to 2000 rpm, the engine seemed to shake a little. My first thought was that the engine mounts might be loose. I never noticed this while driving until about 2 years later when I would approach about 30 mph it appeared to shake and cause a rattle. It also does it as I'm leaving 30 mph. There is a small window in between when it does not shake or vibrate. Once I am a little past 30 mph it stops and does not do it. This only happens if I am not giving it much gas. If I give it gas or slow down it stops right away.If I were giving it more gas at the start, it would not shake at all. The rattle is coming from the heat shield around the catalytic converter. This shaking or vibration just makes it rattle. Again I suspect the engine mounts might have an issue.

Some times when in overdrive at about 50 mph or slightly less, the car goes into a vibration as if driving on ribbed road like they put on the edge of the road to wake you up if you are falling asleep driving. Here too, if I give it gas or slow down it stops instantly.

Has any one else had this issue and experience? Any ideas as to what is going on or causing this?

few items that may cause engine vibration. engine mount worn out, compression bad, leads shorting, injectors fouling, valves need adjusting,

Hello. I had a partly similar problem with my 2000 CRV (220,000 KM) In my case the vibration only occurred when the car was in motion and running between 40 and 70 KM/hour. I took the car into the dealership and was advised that the U-joint linking the rear drive shaft to the transmission was seized up.
I took the car home and removed the drive shaft. Once the drive shaft was removed I was able to drive the car without a problem and the vibration disappeared. I spent a couple of weeks gradually freeing up the u-joint using lots of WD40 and pry bars. I re-installed the drive shaft without a problem and no more vibration issue. If you are able, equiped and don't mind getting dirty, you might try a few doses of WD40 and some prying of the U-joints to see it that helps. ALP

Automatic? Sounds like Honda-schudder. Replace tranny oil. Full flush preferably. Known issue. Mine had it. 115.000 km, and most likely never had it's tranny oil changed.
