Hello,

I’m posting here as my parents car is yet again experiencing difficulties - and I know nothing about cars.

Just this past week the brakes went on the car and it was a very expensive job that they could just barely afford.

The day after it was fixed, we started hearing this awful screeching from the car anytime we would turn or idle. It was always worse the slower we were going.

My father is very hard on the car and drives it very rough. After he came home from a few hours long drive, we noticed the squealing had stopped but now something was dragging at the back. I got out and looked and saw this.

Does anyone know what this might be?
