many water pump brands. Gates GMB, Beck Arnley, what are the best lasting up to 100k, what about the Aisin brand web site says to soak in water before installing because it has a carbon ceramic seal. any knowledge or experience any better.

i have used all brands of after market parts, non in particular go bad. each type of part has its own instructions of installation. so i now just go to oem for the vehicle i am working on. if for my Fit and Hrv, all honda parts. it lasted for xxx miles, a new one should go for just about as long. only things that must be honda is the transmission oil and exhaust sensors, if you go after market on those two it is a good failure to come.
