the a/c does not always come on when the inside controls are set for it. when it does kick in it works fine. there seems to be no rhyme or reason to when it will work or not. try it no go. stop at store come out then it will work. what do I need to check. like I said it works great when it works so I know it is not low on freon.

 

welcome to the forum. check the thermister. it is near the fan in the duct held on by 2 screws. it is like a resistor. a spring with ceramic coating.

 

Is there a way to electrically check these. Can u get them at auto parts store

 

use an ohm meter to check continuity. yes auto parts store have them, you can usually visually see when damaged.
