2014 cr v

Any ideas? 68,000 miles, regular dealer service...who now recommend drive belt replacement. Good idea, or being "sold" on not now necessary replacement?

Can you inspect the belt? That is the only way to be certain.

welcome to the forum. as avisitor states inspect the belt with a mirror and strong flashlight to see for cracks. 8 years is a long time to have that belt in place.
