Default 2016 Touring Headlights

I have a 2016 CRV Touring edition. I have tried to restore the headlights but they are still hazy and not as clear as they should be. I would like to replace both headlights but it seems the entire assembly costs more for the Touring model. My question is can I replace the assembly from another trim from the same year and would it be plug and play. Thank you.

Probably not because of the integral LED DRL’s on the touring. You can check with a salvage yard as they have the cross-fit info.

That said, I have seen some seriously yellowed and fogged lenses polished and restored to like new sparkle. It is all about elbow grease.

The only time assembly replacement would be indicated is if they are cracked/broken or the inside is corroded from water penetration.

I used Maguire's plastic polish followed by spray on polymer coating to restore my 05 SOB lenses.

While polishing is definitely work, it is better than $600 plus removal and install for new ones.

YMMV
