I guess the plate covering the bottom of my engine is called the "Engine Splash Shield". The plate you have to remove to access the engine to change the oil. It has several quarter turn fasteners and three screw in fasteners.
Some of my fasteners have fallen out, where can find these for purchase?

 

 

Did you have any luck finding these? I am missing some of the metal screw in ones as well.

 

Do you guys also have a big gaping hole at the back of the engine? I have not come across this in any car I have owned over the past 35 years, I can see the ground standing in front of the car and looking at the rear of the engine, did the factory forget to install a heat shield of some sorts?
