2017 CRV Touring blown head gasket needs new engine
Our 2017 CRV Touring with 95k miles has blown head gasket and dealer said it needs new engine for $9000. Engine they would put in has 98k miles on it. Had fuel injectors replaced 9 mo. ago under warranty. Warranty ended shortly after. We are so torn on whether this is worth it. My brother suggested I try to find a non dealer garage and get a quote. Any ideas on good garage in Wooster, OH area that repairs Hondas? Opinions on if it's worth it to fix? We have a 24 Touring CRV Hybrid also. The 2017 is my husbands work vehicle not our main vehicle.

$9k for a used engine with almost 100k miles is outrageous.
A blown head gasket also does not equal a new engine unless there is a whole lot more to this story.
So, if you are looking for sound advice you will need to provide a boatload more details.
Get a second opinion from a reputable shop is the best suggestion I can offer.
