2020 CRV Steering Wheel Vibration
Ok, so I just bought a certified pre-owned 2020 CRV. Fellow owners, does your steering wheel vibrate as you drive down the road? Like, obviously a bumpy road causes a bit of extra movement but I thought the steering wheel was supposed to feel smoother. It's like a mini buzzing massage on my hands at all times. No one else seems to be able to feel it, though only a few people have felt the wheel/driven the car. Am I expecting too much? It's driving me crazy. Am I just too sensitive? Is it something I'll tune out eventually? Or should I have service take another look at it? I don't know what to do and I spent quite a bit of money on this car. Help my sanity....
Vibrate could mean a number of things. Without knowing how it is vibrating the cause could be many things.
The fact that only you feel it would indicate that you are likely holding the wheel with your fingertips or very lightly or just the opposite and have the white knuckle death grip going on.
So what is the air pressure in your tires?

Alright, did some digging through other forums and it sounds like it's likely an EPAS problem. Lots of other car owners with electric power steering have complained about vibration, a number of those people have noted no one else including the mechanics seem to feel it. Obviously I have a very sensitive touch, and I wonder if the EPAS can be tweaked or fixed to reduce the vibration. I think I'll ask to test drive another crv and see if it feels the same or not. Otherwise, I might have them rebalance and rotate the tires just to see if it makes any difference. But my suspicion is the power steering.
