Default '22 fluttering sound...

I have an airy fluttering sound, quite faint, and most noticeable at 40-50 mph.
It's like when you have only one rear window down, and you get that constant cadence resonance sound.
It's present at highway speeds, but the sound runs together so that it's barely audible.

It's not rpm related, but sounds more like a tire/bearing noise, or an exhaust manifold noise.
Tires have been rotated, so it is unlikely a bad tire.

This engine is growly to start with, but I'm wondering if anyone else hears anything like this.
I'm hoping it's normal, but I'd like to hear the expert's thoughts before coughing up $170 for the dealership to diagnose it.

Save your money. Wait until it gets worse or you get used to it.

This is kind of driving me crazy. It is faint, but it is there.
It's definitely an airy sound, like a fluttering, but consistent in sound and cadence.
Most noticeable on a smooth surface and at 40-50 mph.
Less noticeable at highway speed (rapid cadence), and barely noticeable at low speed.

If no one else has this problem, it makes me think it's not a normal operating sound.
Any thoughts are greatly appreciated!

welcome to the forum. I had a 07 Fit. on the road and hwy, depending on how far open the back window was the fluttering wind would sound off. if both back windows were open it was very bad. i drove with front right part open and backs closed. 2019 Fit does the same depending on how open the back window was it did the same. very irritating

Windows are closed, tightly.
The sound is persistent, and coming from outside and below the car.
I'm very puzzled...

It might be helpful if you provided pertinent information regarding model, accoutrements, climate ect.

That might eliminate suggestions like: Is your sunroof seated? when you do not have a sunroof.

That not withstanding, have you checked the undercarriage for road debris like a twig or a plastic grocery bag?

I have a wind buffeting sound on my ‘22 under certain wind conditions. It is caused by the window visor. My solution is to turn my Starkeys off. My DW’s solution is to turn up the radio volume.

Tony,
Hello ,I'm a new member here and it is great to be here. Thank you all for allowing us to be here to share our thoughts and gain valuable info too.
My wife has a 2022 CR V Touring that is just over 2 years in our ownership with 10,500 miles on it. Great machine. We had a 2015 Touring prior to this
Back to Tony now. YES !! I have heard this noise for about 3-4 weeks now and its driving us crazy. Can't put a finger ( or ear) on it. I thought it was the Vent Visors. I removed them and took a ride, nope ,still there, re-installed them with new tape. I held and put pressure on the surrounding pieces and that did not stop it either.
I am wondering if it could be something underneath the trim rattling, scraping, etc.
I hope we can locate this soon, really annoying !!
Thank you
Rich
