Any reason for low tire pressure on door jam
On my 2024 CRV Hybrid Sport L , I noticed on the door jam that the tire pressure on the rear tire is 32 and on the front is 35. Is there any reason of keeping recommended tire pressure of front tire greater than the rear?
There is a very good reason why the placard in the driver door jam specifies different pressures for front/rear tires. There are many factors that influence the recommended pressures. The two biggest are tire specs and weight.
Honda engineers use all the factors governing their recommendation including maximum loads known as GVRW, CCC and Front and Rear GAWR.
Soooo, If you are taking 4 bubbas to the big box store to pick up a load of pavers you might want to put more air in the rear tires but never more than the tires are rated for.
Then there is the TPMS…
