Default Auto Trans Oil Change

A 2009 CRV 4WD- I tow behind a Motorhome-
The book says change the Transmission fluid every
2 years- seems reasonable-
Is the drain plug the 3/8 square drive female plug ?
I understand it holds 3 1/2 quarts?
Honda only fluid- no synthetics allowed?
Anyone have experience with this issue?
Thanks in advance
Mark

Default More auto trans. fluid change

I'd like to also ask if the '09 CRV auto trans uses a tranny filter inside the pan. If so, I'll need to get myself a new trans. pan gasket. I'll go out on a limb with this one. About a year or so ago, I was looking for some info. on changing my radio and some kind soul in this forum went to the trouble of sending me a detailed procedure, complete with illustrations, which looked as if they came out of the Honda service manual. Are you still out there ? I could use another response like this for the auto trans. fluid change.
Thanks in advance for all responders.

That was probably acmech,he is our Mod here,he will most likly answer your request if it were him.I may be wrong about this but there should be a drain hole and refill hole on the side of the trans. the top is the fill hole and can be taken out with a 17mm wrench the lower hole can be taken out with a 3/8 ratchet. I would replace the gaskets on the plugs . Just drain and refill.
