Default CR-V service

I have a 2018 CR-V with about 17,000 miles on it, and I am the original owner. I have been doing scheduled oil changes. I was advised by one mechanic to flush the radiator and add new antifreeze, but nothing else. The mileage is low, so I wonder if I really need to service the transmission, brake fluid, etc. The engine is the 2.4L four cylinder.
What do you think? I plan to get the radiator and antifreeze flushed and refilled, but what about the rest? What do you think?

What is wrong with following the Maintenance Minder or as specified
in your Owners Manual if the period of time indicates service?

If you are looking for an excuse to take a shortcut or feel that “one mechanic” is the all knowing source of maintenance requirements then go for it.

Meanwhile, consider that the folks who engineered your vehicle might know what it needs to keep on ticking better than any “advice” you will garner on the internet.

YMMV

Most maintenance is advised in X months/years and Y miles whichever comes first. Your 17k miles is very low but it's also now 6 years old which is a while. Check your manual for the time interval on all the recommended maintenance and go by that. Or whatever you choose since it is your car.

I checked the manual and it has time/mileage recommendations for both the antifreeze and the brake fluid. The only time recommendation for the transmission fluid was for people driving in the mountains or towing - 25,000 miles or 3 years. I plan to follow the maintenance minder if it tells me to service the transmission.
