Default Fuel mileage

I have a 2022 Honda CRV hybrid.
In the winter is looses about 5 miles per gallon on fuel mileage.
Is that normal?
The dealer says they don't know.
Thanks

I have a ‘22 CR-V Hybrid and it is winter here and my fuel economy is unchanged. The season Winter has nothing to do with reduced mpg averages, it is the cold temperatures along with a multitude of other factors.
The top two are heat and, depending on where you live, fuel blends.
Think of how you warm your tootsies and defrost your windshield. As for fuel blends, that varies by location.
Soooo, move South and get rid of another 4 letter word, Snow!

Here is a reference to why in your owners manual:

I am hearing on another CR-V forum several stating their Hybrid loses mileage in the winter. Even my non hybrid 2024 CR-V EX that was getting up to 33-34 mpg in hotter weather seams to only get 31mpg on highway right now.
