I have a 1998 crv auto awd. I'm wanting to swap to a manual awd trans but my is, is it possible to swap the gears for like a girl or type r gearing for better drive ability?

Ik if it's possible I possibly have to change ring and pinion in the rear end to match. But if anyone has info on this it'll be very helpful.
