Default To glue or not to glue...

That elusive upper chrome piece on the 4th generation grill...
Basing that on how many are missing... I'm thinking about gluing (epoxy/cement/adhesive) the strip "permanently" to the
grill... Anyone else "glue it down" instead of using the "official" clips & screws.

Default Stick-em up

3M Makes Super high bond moulding tape.

Clean both surfaces with isopropyl, dry,
stick it on slowly and carefully, pick up the protective strips, done.

I used HBT to affix solar panel mounts to a fiberglass roof on a motorhome, never lost one.
