My CR-V used to beep when I'd leave my headlights on. It's stopped giving me that alert for some reason, and now I keep leaving my lights on during the day. I like to be able to use my headlights in the overcast and foggy conditions. Also during dusk and dawn, but I don't even want to turn them on unless it's dark so I can see them on if I make a mistake.

Any idea how to fix this problem?

 

Ww had the same problem with my wifes CRV. I also noticed that the interior light did not come on when the drivers door was open but worked with the other doors. I deduced that the door switch was faulty and all returned to normal when I replaced it. I hope this helps.
