Default Hello to all Auto world DIYers

My wife and I acquired a very nice used 2012 CRV EX-L today. I will be setting the vehicle up as a TOAD behind our motorhome. I am a guy quite handy with a wrench who's motto is: "If I wanted it screwed up I can do that myself!" I once even witnessed an event at a Honda dealer's garage that made me wince. Now, with all that said I am hoping to find like minds who are willing to do most of the common maintenance on their own. Yes, there are certain things left to the professionals; Provided that is who is actually performing the work. So, I am of the hope we are all ready to share our experiences with these vehicles. It would be very difficult to place a value on the wealth of information which I have found online related to automotive repair over the past decade. So to start: Does anyone have input as to the towing and braking system they chose for a 4 wheel down set up? Good motoring to all!

Id suggest that you thoroughly read your owners manual for information about towing the CR-V. Or call Honda's customer assistance line with any questions. Contact Honda Automobile Customer Service at (800) 999-1009
