Default How to deal with potential oil dilution problem in 2017

Are 2017 will be 33K miles,36 months old at the end of April. It runs great and my wife loves it. I drove 100 miles from my home just to get the special molten lava color which we love. I have much concerned about the oil dilution problem. The dipstick does not smell of gasoline nor is there any increase volume the dipstick. I called the group handling the lawsuit on his problem they told me since I had no issues I need not file anything.
my old CRV was 2005 with 150000 miles on it, traded bc AC broke and I really prefer high-tech information of the present model. What can I do to monitor a possible oil dilution problem? What can I do to keep this beautiful car running properly. Should I change the oil more frequently?

Welcome to the forum. Do oil change at normal life time. Used proper oil per Honda. Check oil level each week or every other week. If your cr-v has not made oil higher today. I doubly it will happen.

It would do you good to keep an eye on the oil level
And change oil on a severe condition schedule
If you live in a warm climate area then there is less to worry about
This oil dilution happens more to those living in colder climates

Default What I did abt CRV issue

Monitoring oil I have done since October,2019.PLAN. hmmm if LUCKY it does fine or I note increased level and begin frequent changes but what if I am UNLUCKY and warning light comes on as has been reported? Honda has shown minimal response in last months settlement as it did with Odyssey trannies decades ago.How much does it cost to get enough of a fix to reset light and then sell it?I bought it new when it was #1 crv and recent ConsumerReports gives it 2 of 5.Hot climate cars ALSO have this problem.
I traded it in on 2017 Hyundai (5/5 per CRprts) per my retired mechanic buddy's advice while CRV still holds value. My wife often travels only with Grandkids 4+ hours away and I am no longer up to praying my car will make it.
