On November 16, I woke up seeing an empty driveway where my 2018 Honda CR-V should have been parked, as were the last four CR-Vs were parked the past twelve years. It was stolen overnight in front of my living & bedroom above. There was no evidence of forced entry… the thief just unlocked the door, started the car, and drove off… without a key. Like all recent cars, we can unlock & start vehicles with a remote keyless entry system. While convenient, it’s obvious Honda does not make this secure through encryption; just look at IBC’s last year’s top10 for stolen cars. I urge Honda to change this crisis into an opportunity – make security a core value of your company. You’ve lost me as a loyal client, Honda. Make your product secure and win me back.

welcome to the forum. sorry for the stolen car. any car you purchase can and will be stolen if a car thief wants that car. it does not matter who the owner of the car is or what type of car it is.
This person has posted this same thing on other forums.
Do not know his motive. But, he seems to want to let everyone his problems.
And, of course, there is little detail as to how it was stolen.
He may have contributed to that by leaving his fob which sends out the command codes
near his front door. Where thieves are known to use repeaters to open doors and start the engine.
Security always begins and ends with the owner of the vehicle.
If somebody want's your car, he can get it even with tow car. You can install additional security systems on it, if you don't like Honda's. I installed Pandora DX on my car and get GPS / GSM / 4G control of my car. I can consult you in private, if you interested how to do that.
