locate amplifier in 2011 CRV
I've just spent 4 hours attempting to install an after market stereo in my 2011 CRV EX. It has the High Power... w7 speakers incl subwoofer. (mfg date 3/2011)
Ordered a Pioneer from Crutchfield and they included the Honda bypass kit, that bypasses the stock amp and subwoofer. (Not a big deal)
Anyway, all the pictures they supplied and talking to 3 of their support folks, indicate the amp is inside the drivers side panel of the console. Two of us have spent hours removing panels and checking every plug we can find, but none match the kit supplied from Crutchfield. (They verified the kit #) The color code on the stock plug at the stereo, does not match, exactly, the document the support folks have; they indicate it is more like the one with no sub. But, the subwoofer is in place under the passenger seat; I have the original window sticker stating the stereo type.
But we cannot find any device anywhere that matches the plug on the bypass kit for the amp...
Any suggestions?
