Default Lost keys. CRV 2014 LX

Hi,

I seem to have lost my car keys. I have the backup keys with me. It is a 2014 CRV LX AWD.
Question: How can I prevent the car from getting stolen?
Do I need to call the dealer to reprogram the keys or something?
Thanks

Welcome in,you could have the door locks replaced, kind of expensive,or you could install a hidden kill switch in a fender well or under the bumper cover.

Thanks,I shall explore both options.
Meanwhile,I was wondering if I could use some sort of a wheel locking thingy. You know, like a clamp that has locks.
Good news is that,my car is still here.

yes you can use a steering wheel lock, i had one and it deters the quickness of stealing a car. easier to hit another car than deal with a steering wheel lock.

If you get your key reprogrammed, no keys you don't have will be able to start the car. If that's all you're worried about, I would just do that (maybe get replacement keys at the same time). If you're worried about stuff in your car being stolen, that's a different story.
