Own 2, 2006 crv's. Love them. Need to replace low beam bulbs periodically but been easy enough. Now however, the spring that secures the socket has become bent and I can no longer hook it to secure bulb. Honda doesn't sell the spring separately and I'm trying to avoid buying a complete assembly if possible. Any ideas as to where I may get a spring?
Thanks
Chuck

welcome to the forum. if you have a good size salvage yard with a bent up 02-06 you may be able to find the spring. or take yours off and see if any other honda might be the same spring. ebay, or go to google and type in honda cr-v headlight spring, you may find an app that will go to all salvage yards on the internet and give you a price for the spring.

Thanks for the info. I have tried eBay and have googled headlight crv spring, no success. But haven't explored salvage yards as yet so will give that a try. Funny, I hit a dear last yr and had both headlights replaced. Didn't know I'd need that spring. Oh well.
