P0134 & p1166 dtc 03 crv
Hi All,
I am new to the forum and still trying to understand my way around it. I made a post yesternight and have not got any feed back and can't even find the post. So I am afraid it never posted. And I need help.
My problem:-
I had the trouble code P1166 on my 2003 CRV and was directed to the A/F O2 sensor (B1, S1). I bought a new sensor from eBay and replaced. This code went off but check light came back on shortly with a code P0134 (No activity detected at B1, S1). I got a different sensor from my vendor and the same thing happened i.e. P0134 code with check light. However, when I put back the old sensor - which had an open/broken heater - the P1166 code comes back and the P0134 goes off.
The wiring looks OK, and I bench/burner tested these new sensors and the output gave 0 to 500 mV and above. I am at a loss here and will appreciate any help with this. This car needs to pass emission test for IL registration renewal.
Can it be that the new sensors are not the correct type?
Thanks.

I ran the car with the new O2 Sensor and could determine that the it was producing the expected voltage. So I think the ECM may be faulty or not reading this voltage appropriately. I think I should get and replace the ECM
Unfortunately I have not been able to locate the ECM in this Car.
Could some one at least help me out with locating the ECM on this 2003 CRV?
Thanks.
