I am currently looking to buy a Honda CR-V used a year or two old approx. Looked at three yesterday at my local honda dealer and noticed the lower part of the front drivers door and passenger door had small surface circles of rust on all 3 vehicles. Has the paint been an issue on the Honda CR-V, see trim levels below that I looked at. You would have to get down a bit to see it but it was obvious once I did that. Small circle spots were the same on all. Would this be known as "rail dust" maybe, oxidized metallic debris (brake dust, etc) on the road that dries onto the car usually after a rain storm or similar event?
