Default Power Window Not Working - Part 2

Hi there,

I had this issue a couple years ago, and it's come up again. The rear passenger window doesn't work. I removed the door panel and saw that the original purple wire is again severed, in addition to another wire.

The issue I'm having with the fix is the darn rubber boot between the door and the car frame. I need to feed the wires back through that boot, and there's very little clearance in there. And once I do feed them through, there's basically just enough wire as it is, so to strip them down and try to reconnect them, I'll probably just be looking at the same issue in the near term.

Does anyone have any tips on a repair like this? It seems like it should be a simple fix, but I may be reaching out to dealers and see what they might charge.

Thanks!
