I'm looking at buying a new Honda CR-V, but am just wondering if you guys have any suggestoins on what is the most I should pay. I've never really done the haggling thing before and I don't want to get ripped off, but know you should never pay sticker price either...

 

you should bring somebody with you who has because most car salesman are very pushy and employ scare tactics to sell you what you don't need there very slick.

 

Go to Kelly Blue book and check under used car values it will give you wholesale,retail and private sale prices.

 

welcome to the forum. You can also go to NADA and find the inventory price, add 500.00 and offer this in cash. Have your money ready, cash, check, bank check, credit union check. ( no trade in ) Or you can try the internet purchase. you get a price good for 3 days and you bypass the sales person and go to the internet person with your check and out with your car. No 4-6 hr hassel with the sales person and his pet mgr. takes about 45 min.
