Problem with iPhone connection to CarPlay

Question Problem with iPhone connection to CarPlay

I bought a CR-V Sport Hybrid last winter and until now the Carplay connection has worked well! However, I am now having difficult maintaining the Carplay connection. My iPhone is an 11Pro model and I just updated to IOS 17.7 and the problem seems to have started after the update. I've been able to connect twice but when I turn the car on the next day, the connection has been lost. It may be related to the update but wanted to see if others have had a similar issue.

I just tried Carplay on my 2024 CR-V after updating iPhone 13 to IOS 17.7 on my with no issues. Have you tried turning phone off and back on?
If that doesn’t work you might call Apple Support at (877) 388-0879
