smart phone, dumb driver

I just got a new 2019 CR-V EX without in-car navigation. The dealer showed me a way to get Google Maps on the display, but I have forgotten the process. Can anyone help?

Download the Android or Apple Auto app to your phone. Then plug your phone into the left USB port inside the center console. That will open the Auto app and allow use of your phone nav app.
