Default So, I had my CR-V painted...

...well, just the area above the back window, actually. It started out as a super-small pimple in the paint that I hardly noticed. One day I'd taken it to a do-it-yourself car wash, and the jet got water underneath, and after that, the paint just started to peel off. Hopefully, it's just an anomaly in that area and it won't happen anywhere else, or Ill be shelling out a whole lot more dough. Yes, I had taken it to Honda, and they said they would cover 50% of the paint job, but that still turned out to be $3-400 (my share)!

The 4th (and last) place I took it to didn't quote me a price on matching the white paint, because I'd asked how much it would be just to match the black paint on the bumper. He said $75, so I jumped on that!

Here're before & after pics.

Anyone else had problems with the paint? This is a 2014 CR-V, by the way.
