2017 CR-V EX: All the dash warning lights lit up. No apparent issue and it kept running fine.

Honda dealer service department said it was caused by the Toll transponder as we went through a toll. Suggested we keep it in a foil bag. I have the identical car - no issue.
never heard of this before. Couldn’t find anything on an internet search.
our dealership is solid on sales and service.

this is weird- any thoughts?

If you keep it in a foil bag it won't trigger the toll.

 

This is one BS I have not heard yet.
Did they explain why the toll transponder is messing with the vehicle??
