Default 05 CRV, VSA Light comes on disabling cruise.

On my 05 CRV, the VSA light comes on at startup, which disables the cruise control. I used to be able to immediately turn off car, restart, and VSA light would clear, cruise would work, all good. Then it began taking more and more miles down the road before I could clear the VSA light. My front ties are worn quite a bit more than the rear and need replacing. Can this be driving the VSA system crazy, then crazier as tires wear? Where is the cruise control black box (module) located on the vehicle? If the power to the cruise is just interrupted by the VSA system, I’d like to feed it directly from a fuse and say to heck with the VSA. I will not spend the money on a VSA module if that is the problem as the car has 215k miles on it. Thanks Much for any info.
