What's the light above the rear window called?

I had the strip painted above my rear window (https://hondaforum.com/forum/cr-v-fo...painted-13581/), now the white lens for the light sticks out like a sore thumb. I'd like to replace it with a darker lens, but don't know what the part is called in able to search for it.

Also, has anyone had success "painting" something like this? A guy at work says to get black spray paint and just haze the lens, but I'd rather buy a pre-darkened one.

If you are talking about the third brake light, you can buy a spray tint. Remove the lens Clean it with alcohol and spray a light coat first wait 30 minutes and add another coat, that should do it,if you think it's not dark enough spray another,if you mess up lacquer thinner will clean it off, good luck.

Yes! Third brake light, thank you. Didn't know there was a spray tint, I'll check that out, thanks.
