I just bought a '81 Honda 750 C and the manual states that the
oil capacity is 4.7 quarts on assembly, it also says to put in 3.7
quarts and then run engine for a few minutes, wait a bit and then
recheck oil level and add more to the upper level line.
Well, I dumped the oil, put in a new oil filter and the put in 3.7 qts.
and then added about another 1/2 of a quart of oil and it now reads
full on my dipstick, however, that is a total of 4.25 quarts. Can
someone tell me just how much is supposed to go in? Thanks, Ken
