Unhappy 2005 Honda Shadow Aero vibration at speed

Obnoxious vibration begins in low 50's and increases with speed. Any ideas on how to reduce it?

Nothing new installed by me but this is a recent purchase. Dealer said vibration is caused by an unbalanced engine on this make. I'm skeptical as vibration is bad. Are you suggesting removal of wheels to balance or alignment? Can something in the engine be the issue?

, i am giving you options to check to find vibrations that don't cost a lot of money if a dealer says engines vibrate, i would look into why and what might be causing that. Do you get vibrations as you rev the engine up.

No. The vibration is noticeable in high gear in the low 50's. Gets worse with additional speed. I do not rev the engine much while up shifting however.
