Default I'm having problems...

I have a 83 v45 sabre and I got it out this spring, battery was dead but charged it and it started right up, next day started right up and I took it out to wash it up, let run on idle for a few minutes and turned it off. After I was done washing and waxing I went to turn it on and nothing turned on when i turned the key. No headlight horn or even the starter. I checked the battery and it was fully charged. Any ideas of where to start looking. Is this a igniton switch problem or wiring? Let me know. Thank you -John

welcome to the forum. check the battery terminals, besure they are clean to have a good contact. water will cause the contact to go weak. check to besure the ignition switch is dry.

Thanks, I'll take a look. I cleaned the terminals so those should be good, I was thinking that the ignition might be my next best bet.

wd-40 all your terminals, this may displace the water and get the power back
