Hi, my name is Elizabeth. I have recently been trying to learn how to ride. I've had a 1970 CT90 for a couple years, mostly it's been out of order, but it's running again! I plan on learning on this, getting my license and then buying a...larger bike. I was gonna get a Rebel, but I've heard the Shadow might be a better buy...I'm partial to the VLX, VLX Deluxe for starters. But I've seen complaints about not having a fifth gear? Anyone have any suggestions or opinions on this? Just curious...

 

I think any small Honda is an excelent starter bike. All very dependable. Make sure you take a riders class so you can learn the proper techniques and have fun!

 

The 250cc Rebel is a very popular starter bike.
