Are noisy values on a VTX 1800 normal?
I have a new 2005 VTX 1800 /N with only 600 miles. I start it up and there is a tapping noise that sound like my valves need to be adjusted. My shop says the compression is fine and all levels are normal.
They told me to rev the engine to get the oil pressure up. The noise does decrease but does not go away.
Is this normal for this bike?
