Bought 2004 Civic from Kia dealer. Engine light came on after 60 days. No codes found, or reason for light. Checking out comment from dealer about preprogrammed intervals for engine light activation - Honda doesn't do that, do they?

 

All it is a reminder that you need to change your oil or follow your follow up maintenance check ups in your owners manual. It also tells you how to turn it off if you change your own oil or take it to a walmart where so called technicians wouldnt know this either. [sm=s231.gif]
