2012 Honda Accord - Do I need Honda Dealer parts for Cabin & Engine air filter?

Or can i purchase an after market part from Autozone or the likeS?

The car is under warranty, so dont want to violate any warranty rules

 

welcome to the forum. While my honda was under warranty, I called the service manager at my honda dealership and asked him if I could change my own air filters and oil and filter. He stated yes I could and advised me to document the type of airfilter and date and milage. he did suggest using mobil 5w20 syn oil to use. Always ask your dealer's service mgr, and get his name date and time.
