2016 CR-V EX-L or 2017 HRV EX-L with NAV
I'm trying to decide between a 2016 CR-V EX-L ($27500) vs a 2017 HRV EX-L with NAV ($24400) and need some help deciding.
So I've ruled out a 2017 CR-V EX-L. Mostly because when you fold the back seats flat, there is a large gap behind the head rest of the folded seat and the back of the front row seats. Seems like a trivial detail, but I have two three legged dogs and I'm really worried they they will lose their balance, fall in the gap and hurt themselves. The 2016 CR-V is smaller, so that gap isn't there when the back seats are folded.
The 2017 HRV EX-L is smaller, less cargo space, but that magic seat configuration is pretty sweet. One of my dogs can easily fit in the hatch and the other can fit on the floor of the back seat row. Not to mention he won't ruin the leather seats because they will be folded up.
I like both cars so I'm really torn between the two. Any thoughts or advice?

welcome to the forum. We got a HR-v only because the crv was a bit expensive, and we have not had any problems with it so far, already gone through a 15% oil change 8k + miles. wife enjoys it, lx model. to Pits fit good, still lots of room.
