i have a 93 civic with a d16y8 vtec i bought the guy saidthe swapwas done when he got it and the tranny went i need to know what tranny to get will the stock tranny for that car blot up or do i need to get a tranny 4 the year car the motor came out of i know them motors where in 96-2000 civic ex just let me know

I would say any D-series, but I'm not sure. I do know any D16 series will work though. Get one from ebay for $200-300.
