CR-V/Pilot Winter Performance
Hello, everyone.
I will be attending college in the upper peninsula of Michigan this fall and wanted to ask if anybody knew if there was a big difference between the performances of the CR-V and Pilot (both AWD) in regards to snow (8+ inches at times). I would just like to know how well the two different vehicles do in winter. If I get either vehicle, I will be getting snow tires as well.
Thanks for any help.

I have a 2014 CRV with AWD and have had no problems in the snow so far. Depends on the weather conditions I assume, and I'm sure that there is more snow in Michigan than where I live, but I can say I have been very pleased with the performance of the CRV

I've watched a number of CR-V-off-road videos on YouTube before getting my 98, and one of the most entertaining I saw was a guy driving his CR-V in the show. It probably doesn't mean much, but it's pretty cool to see an old CR-V having no problem driving through show that is noticeably higher than the floor of the car.
