d15 turbo

Default d15 turbo

i have a d15 block with high compression pistons. i plan to mini me swap with a turbo wut would be the best head for the job?

what exactly are you going to do with the mini swap?? jdm d15b bottom with a d16z6 head??? i can tell your if you plan on keeping the D15 with high comp pistons your in trouble... D series hate boost especially with high comps... thats asking for problems

Like wut kind of problems I spoke to a honda tech he said it should b fine with a rebuilt d16z6 head running only about 7-8 psi?

it depends on what your compression ratio is but the cylinder walls of the D15 are very small. even a D16Y8 can only handle like 7-8 psi stock comprssion... it all depends.. tell me what your set up as of now and what you are planning on putting into it to handle the turbo

I have a rebuilt b18 to put in it so I'm not doin much to it I bawt the car like a month ago to put my b18 in but its got a rebuilt d15 with high comp pistons not sure wut ratio I'm just gonna put d16z6 rebuilt head upgrade the injectors and fuel pump if the motor blows o well the sooner the better lol

lol well if you have a secondary motor than go for it.. my guess is that you can get 10-15k out of it if you dont hot rod it
