I just recently purchased a 2007 Honda Civic Coupe with only 36,000km on the motor! The owner told me that Honda automatically transfers the warranty over to a new owner after you contact a dealership and then I would still be able to benefit from the 5 year, 100,000km warranty? Is that how it works since I still have another 64,000km to go before reaching the 100,000km mark... or is it 5 years or 100,000km (whichever comes first?)

 

welcome to the forum. Honda's 5 yr 100,00km warranty works as follows. which ever occurs first. in your case, it is now 2020, your 5 yr warranty ended 2012. does not matter what milage you have.
