Default I know this topic has been discussed many times but...

Hi guys im new to the forum and dont really know where to post this thread so im just gonna post it here.

I have a question that I have researched and still cant come up with an answer.

I live in Tucson AZ and my bro lives in LA. I wanna go visit him and was wondering if i'll be bothered about my modified exhaust system. I know the decible limit is like 95 or 96 and mine is below that, but will they bother me even if i come from out of state and am only staying for 3 days tops?

Thanks

welcome to the forum. You will not be bothered unless you look like a young teenager or old man in a hot honda. ca has an abundance of modified exhaust systems. If you drive the speed limit plus 0 and abide with all the posted signs, you will not be bothered. sit up straight in the car and avoid waring a ball cap. don't play the music so loud to vibrate other cars mirrors. and pay attention to where you park your car and lock it up with an alarm. If your windows are tinted too dark, you may be stopped for that.

hope you have a safe trip, and good visit with your brother. If you come thru Las vegas, any speeding ticket is 1000.00

lol there is no way to tell if a cop is going to pull you over for a loud exhaust he can do so if he pleases maybe he dropped his jelly donut that morning and is in a bad mood. i would invest in a universal silencer tip for your exhaust.
