I'm new to...well everything Honda. I have to admit i was that guy that made fun of Honda lovers all the time. Well a few weeks ago i found out that i will be going to Japan for 2 years and i started looking into cars, my little brother explained to me the benefits of owning a honda, everything from gas to tuning and parts, well now i don't know which model i want to get while in Japan. I do know what it'l take to import it back to the U.S.. I just dont know what to get, im leaning towards an S2000. what else should i bring back from Japan? any specific engines for the S2000, im usually a Nissan guy so i understand Sr20s and Rb26s, what is the king engine for Hondas and/or S2000s?

 

welcome to the forum. Heads up on bringing a honda back from Japan, you will have difficulty finding engine parts, I was told they are not the same as American built Honda's. Do more research first. The s2000 is a real sport car, but the civic type r is good also. Also need to think about smog, and getting it legal for the U.S.
