Default My Honda

I recently purchased a 91 civic hatchback. Its an automatic.the first couple of days i was driving i didnt have any problems with and this past friday it overheated and died on me.after lookin under the hood i found that the hose going to the thermostat had split so i replaced it, filled with antifreeze and startded to drive again.About 10 minutes later it overheated again and i noticed that it had blown oil all over the back of my radiator.i knew i would have to get the engine rebuilt.so my question is would it be easyer to swap the whole engine to a 5spd?

If you want a standard, you can get all the parts needed from a salvage yard, but you do need to get the overheating cleared out first. make sure the rad is not plugged up, or the thermostate is not stuck closed. and yes it is a good time to do the swap, be sure to get the ecu for that engine due to ecu for auto and standard not the same.

vteccommander: how does the V Tec on your porsche work? I was not aware that porsche had V Tec? I need a bit of training please. Thanks.
