Transmission - cold start first drive issues
Hi,
Honda CRV drives well anytime any day.
However, this is the concern that happens:
1. when engine is left to cool after 3-4 hrs and engine is started and warmed up in 3-5 mins.
2. when the engine is put into drive mode,
3. it takes some few seconds (3-4) before the gear transmission becomes active.
4. at this stage the CRV drives well till it is parked.
5. when the engine is left to cool for about 3-4 hrs, the 1st step above is repeated, the experience occurs again.
Action Taken:
1. Vehicle was serviced ie oil change, fuel filter, air filter changed.
2. Transmission fluid has been changed, but the effect is still experienced.
I will be highly grateful to advise on the way forward.
Cheers!!

Do you have a good scan tool? Can you take pressure tests?
If not, You may want to throw a can of bg or lucas in it and see if it gives some relief.

Noted I will give it a scan with pressure tests..
You mentioned I should throw in a few lucas and... Can you please break it down for me please? I want to make sure I purchase the right brand or products to fix it.
Cheers
