Hello got a 8th Generation 2008 Civic that I just bought not to Long ago
in the owners manual it calls for 5w20 oil im using Synthetic Pennzoil Platinum along with a can of BG MOA to keep the wear down and engine extra clean along with a puralotor synthetic media oil filter. what about

i use mobile1 5w20 high mileage synthetic mobile1 filter. before that i used Amsoil synthetic and filter but that's overkill and expensive.

 

Yeah a good 5w20 name brand synthetic oil is fine. especialy in
cold temps because it warms the engine up quicker too. easyer on
the starter as well. what about the oil filter what brand do You use.?

 

I like Valvoline Synthetic..
